Thanksgiving travel is already getting underway as the TSA expects to screen millions of passengers this week. However, TSA officials are reminding passengers what food items will make it through security checkpoints ahead of the holiday. TSA Spokesperson Lisa Farbstein says if you can spill it, spread it, pump it, or pour it, you're going to have to put those items in your checked bag, including canned fruits and vegetables. She says there are also plenty of foods than can be carried through checkpoints, including baked goods and meat. In addition to packing pumpkin pies, Farbstein says airports are always busy during the holidays and she's reminding travelers to be patient.
I will be taking part in my friend Joy's holiday travel by picking her up at 3AM tomorrow morning to take her to the airport....yes.. BEFORE I work tomorrow
