Elise Trouw is a native Southern California growing up mostly in the San Diego area. She first started learning to play the piano at age six, then drums at age 10.
Elsie's first full album came out in 2017 and on it she plays drums, vocals, guitar, piano, and bass guitar.
She release a couple of "live looping" mashups in 2018 that really show what Elise is capable of doing live. (One of them is below). When I saw the video I was determined to see Trouw live, which I did at her show at the Casbah.
Elsie's performances are so mesmerizing that she got invite to perform on the Jimmy Kimmel show and wowed the audience!
