"Friday Flashback": 25 Years Ago Today- My Favorite 3rd Wave Ska Band

25 Years Ago Today, the band that I thought was the best band from the "3rd Wave Ska" era in the 1990's released their album Dr Bones and I attended their release party and crazy performance in the parking lot of that I.E. record store.

The Skeletones ruled the Inland Empire ska scene back then and if you are a long time I.E. resident, I'm sure you remember a few of their legendary shows..

We were all merely teenagers then and boy did we all have some fun at those live shows at places like The Barn, and at the Orange Blossom Festival...

I found some photos from back then as well. I hope you enjoy my little trip down memory lane....

Paul Hampton has gone on to play with other bands including a tour with Fishbone, but his original band certainly made their mark in the 3rd wave ska scene...and beyond.
