Dwight's Daily Dose of New Music Former Local Band Still Making Great Music

The members of Lefroy used to live and perform through the Inland Empire. The have since moved back east, but are still making great music.

Today I feature their new single "Ready to Go"

Here's some info sent to use by Quarterback Records:

A music powerhouse: Lefroy not only creates the biggest country rock sound on the planet, they are a musical force for good in their Alabama community and beyond. This tight-knit group of high-caliber musicians with a number of Grammy award winners among them is known for their unique blend of country twang and rock and roll grit holding a central message of positivity that is impossible to ignore.

With a dynamic and versatile sound fit for an arena, Lefroy seamlessly blends country-rock and orchestral string arrangements complete with two drummers, full rock band and string section capable of covering a vast musical territory from high energy up-tempo songs to beautiful and cinematic ballads. From the driving guitar riffs to the soaring strings and harmonies, every element of their music is crafted with precision and care by musicians, many of whom did the same on some of the most beloved songs in the world. At the forefront of this incredible instrumental soundscape is lead singer Paul Susanka, whose raw, soulful and passionate vocals bring powerful depth to the band's positive messages of love, unity, and hope. Lefroy is a source for original music content and is known for their ability to breathe new life into old favorites, giving fans a fresh perspective on timeless classics. Led by their visionary founder, Barry Lefroy, the band uses their music as a vehicle for social change, often partnering with local charities and non-profit organizations to raise awareness and funds for important causes.

Here I am with the leader and namesake of the band Barry Lefroy, when they were still a "local" band...
