I have been a fan and a friend of Gary Myrick for a very long time. You might say we even grew up together in a way. Gary's early work helped inspire me to get into radio. I loved music, but had no talent, so....radio!
Gary Myrick was one of 5 artists who helped me kick off this format on Radio 94/5 and morning show almost nine years ago by joining me that very first week. I am grateful for his help and always like to support such a supremely talented guitarist!
Now Gary has now teamed up with Mike Hanson and Dug Pinnick og King's X to form a new band called "MPH" (look closely, it's the first letter of each last name)
Today I feature their first single "Wolfman" from an album that will be out in September. Gary will be sending me other new advance tracks as well soon.
Gary and I back in the day ... I'm proud to have known him all the way back to my days with that cheesy mustache...LoL
