Here's info from the City of Temecula:

Ten members of the Temecula Citizen Corps (TCC) and the Temecula Emergency Manager participated in a Riverside County CERT Field Day exercise that was hosted by the City of Riverside. Approximately 80 CERT-trained volunteers from 20 communities in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties participated in this exercise to practice and to broaden the emergency response capabilities of volunteers who prepare to assist our communities in case of a disaster within their respective communities. The event takes place at the Riverside City Fire Department training facility on Saturday, June 10, 2023.

Participants in the Field Day learned and practiced advanced cribbing skills to rescue survivors trapped in challenging situations. They also practiced their search and rescue skills in a sophisticated exercise by searching a darkened multiple room building to find and rescue the sole survivor. Refresher training on the use of a fire extinguisher and other basic CERT skills were also included in the exercises.

Temecula Citizen Corps mission “... harness the power of every individual through education, training, and volunteer service to make Temecula safer, stronger, and better prepared to respond to the threats of terrorism, crime, public health issues and disasters of all kinds”.
