Today on the Dose, I will feature the second song from a band I discovered when they played in the Temecula Valley (hence the Temecula Valley Tuesday status), at the recent Same Same But Different Festival out on the shores of Lake Perris.
The band is from the San Diego area and they are called The Diz. I'll be playing their song called "Bad Decisions".
The Diz will be performing in a free acoustic show at the Fountain down in Little Italy SD this Friday at 6PM and again on December 2nd as part of a Christmas Toy drive (info below)

A little bit about us:
We have been together for about 1 year now, I am an engineering PhD student at UCSD and Sky (vocals/guitar/bass) is an undergrad studying cognitive neuroscience and Elise (drums) is an undergrad studying the tech side of music. Will (taller guy guitar/bass) is a recent Berkeley grad and landscape architect I met at a Cory Wong concert. I met Sky at an open mic a lil over a year ago and was floored by how incredible she was and knew I wanted to try and play with her. Sky brought in Elise who she knew through playing with her in a Green Day musical, and I brought in Will who was a good friend and incredible musician and we've kind of been playing everywhere we can since.
The Diz will be performing at this event at Winston's on December 2nd and you can get in for free when you bring an unwrapped toy.
