Throwback Thursday- On This Date When I Was a Teenager I Bought This Car

On this date, when I was in college, I bought my first and only Mopar- A 1972 Plymouth Duster with a .318 race motor.

This ended up being my best Palomar College Auto Body project ever as well.

You can see how the car looked after I did all the body work and painted it myself below.

I wish I still had this car.

    I had just bought this car when I took this photo, the guy threw in the hood scoop which isn't attached. I just set it on there to see what it would look like. I ended up not using the scoop on this car.

    This was how the car looked "finished" I ended up not using the unnecessary hood scoop and painted the car this beautiful metallic blue.
