City of Temecula Displays Mural in Honor of Arab American Heritage Month

Here's the info from the City of Temecula:

The City of Temecula & Temecula Valley Museum invite art and culture enthusiasts to view the latest temporary mural, Arab American Heritage, located in the park adjacent to the museum. This mural celebrates National Arab American Heritage Month, focusing on the theme Arab Cityscape and is currently on display until the end of April 2024, at Sam Hicks Monument Park (41970 Moreno Road). A mural unveiling reception will be hosted on WED, APR 17, 2024, at 5:00 pm, by the Temecula Valley Museum. This free reception is open to the public. Guests in attendance will be able to meet the artists, learn more about the mural, and enjoy refreshments. The City of Temecula’s Mural Project supports emerging artists by providing a space to showcase their craft. Each month, artists have the opportunity to paint a mural on varying topics, facilitated by Tony Moramarco, Creative Director of Bigfoot Art Classes, Cultural Arts Facilitator to the City of Temecula, and Founder of Cartoon-A-Paloozah! This mural was painted by Hayden “Chachi” Stacey (@fischer_art_co) and talented art students from Bigfoot’s Elite Advanced Art Program, including Sullivan DeVries, Cambria DeVries, Joseph Lockhart, Nina Lin, and Madeline Secules. The Temecula Valley Museum seeks to promote art and culture through public art and programs like this mural. You will be able to find more information on this mural and program by visiting TemeculaValleyMuseum.org/MuralProject
