July 2024 Programs at the Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library

Lots of local stuff going on at our local library next month. Here's in from the City of Temecula:

The Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library (30600 Pauba Road) has engaging programs in July as part of our Summer Reading Program: Read, Renew, Repeat! Enjoy great performances on WEDNESDAYS at 10:30 am: JUL 10, 2024 Ranger Jack: A Musical Refresh Join us for an interactive musical show with puppets! JUL 17, 2024 Christopher T. Magician: Book Your Adventure Books magically come to life. All ages are welcome. Free passes will be distributed 30 minutes prior to the start time on a first-come, first-serve basis. Space is limited. Aspiring young authors may enter their original children’s picture book in a Picture Book Contest through SAT, JUL 6, 2024. Children (5 to 12 years old) may enter for a chance to have their story edited, illustrated, and published as a book in cooperation with the Think Ahead Kids Foundation. Teens may submit art for the TeeNature Art Contest through WED, JUL 3, 2024. Registration is currently open for all three categories (Painting/Drawing, Written Art, and Photography/Collage). Submissions can be dropped off at the reference desk. Check out the amazing submissions at the TeeNature Art Showcase on WED, JUL 10, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm, presented by the Temecula Teen Library Council. Art submissions will be showcased, and winners will be announced! We will also have a fun craft for everyone. Refreshments will be provided for this gallery-style event. This program is for all ages and no registration is required. Adults (18+) can leave perfection at the door during Bad Art Night on THU, JUL 11, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Enjoy snacks and conversation while using various art supplies to create your own disaster-piece! Registration opens THU, JUN 27, 2024. All programs are sponsored by the Friends of the Temecula Libraries and registration begins two weeks prior to scheduled program/event dates.
