For Throwback Thursday this week, I'm taking a look back at my first truck. It was a great running, waycool, old 1972 Datsun. It was also a little bit beat up. So I enrolled in a college course of auto body refinishing and did all the work myself.
The project came out great, as you can see by the last photo. Unfortunately, one of my good friends talked me into selling him my truck and he let his brother borrow it- who promptly totaled it 2 weeks later.
It was one of my best auto projects.
It started and ended red with various points of primer in between.. you can see the progress through the photos below...
