My weekend has already gotten off to a good start as my friend Chris I went down to the marina adjacent to Humphrey's outdoor concert venue on Shelter Island in San Diego to watch the Hoodoo Gurus perform.
It was a full hour and a half set listening to Gurus classics like "What's My Scene" "Bittersweet" and "Miss Freelove 1969"
I was a tad underdressed for the weather as it was in the low 60's and I was in my usual shorts and flops....so I danced around more to keep warm.
If you ever want to go see a concert at Humphreys' free from the docks, you have to know someone with a boat as there is security...so don't try this on your own...luckily I have friend with boats in that marina that I sail with..
Now on to tomorrow and a Missing Person concert back up in Temecula at Wein's Winery...a musical throwback weekend for sure!
