"Gibby... Meet Freddie" (VIDEO)

OMG- I'm stealing that from the Mets.

Tonight's World Series game one was literally the best since 1988- the year Kirk Gibson hit his famous home run.

In many ways it was even better. It featured 2 starting pitchers that got to the 6th inning (a rarity in postseason MLB now), sac fly runs scored, runs bunted over, a player stealing second and third, players catching balls and going into the stand...even a fan catching a fair ball by leaning over the outfield fence.

There was everything in this game!

But what everyone will remember is only one play. Freddie Freeman hitting the first pitch thrown to him with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th. He hit that ball very close to Gibson hit his in 1988.... and the Dodgers walked off with the first walk off GRAND SLAM in World Series history...

...and it's only game ONE
