The Dodgers had lost 3 in a row and 4 of their last 5, but they still had a chance to match their 10-4 record of last years World Series Championship year.
It started off amazing! 4 runs before the Nats got an out! A 2 run triple by Edmund and a homer by Teoscar Hernandez made it look like the Dodgers would cruise...
Not so fast...the "not ready to be back in the majors" Landon Knack gave up 3 in the bottom of the first and eventually the lead as Washington came back to lead the game 5-4.
But as the Dodgers have done 8 times already they came back to win.
The 9th inning was a nail biter with Nats on 1st and third, but Treinin got the third out on a ground out and the Dodgers won 6-5.
SD and SF both won, so for now, the Dodgers are still in third place.
That could all change this weekend as Freddie Freeman returns to the lineup as the Cubs come to L.A. on Friday.
