Here's local artist info from the City of Temecula:
– Join the City of Temecula Community Services Department as we celebrate California State Parks with a mural on display at Sam Hicks Monument Park (41970 Moreno Road) from May through the end of June 2025. The mural was painted by local artist Sabin Flores, a local emerging artist and art instructor from Bigfoot Art Classes. Sabin teaches anime and watercolor classes. This mural was inspired by the artist’s love for Torrey Pines and state parks in Southern California. He hopes to encourage his neighbors to explore local parks and enjoy their wonder and majesty. From JUN 11 – 15, 2025, California State Parks of the California Department of Parks and Recreation hosts the fourth annual California State Parks Week. Together with non-profit organizations, businesses and communities, California State Parks shares various state park events to promote the Outdoor Access For All initiative in providing outdoor activities for all ages, especially youth and families in underserved communities. For more information about California State Parks and the event week visit CaStateParksWeek.org. The Temecula Art Mural Project seeks to support emerging artists by providing a space to showcase their craft. Artists paint murals on varying topics, facilitated by Bigfoot Graphics and Temecula Community Services. For more information or to participate as an artist, please call 951-694-6480.
