Buying A New Car? Expect to Pay More Than Ever Now

I have only bought 2 cars brand new in my life. The first one worked out great, even though it was a PT Cruiser (not a particulary reliable model). I got a full 200,000 miles over 14 years miles out of it

My second new purchase was a 2017 Kia Soul (in photo), I only drove it 90,00 miles before I traded it in on my truck- I would not recommend those cars.

So for me a new purchase can be risky...and now much more expensive.

New car prices are reaching record highs in the U.S. According to Kelley Blue Book, the average American new car buyer paid just over 50-thousand-and-100-dollars in September, which is the first time the figure has ever topped the 50-thousand-dollar mark.

I finally bought the truck I always wanted about a year ago...but I bought used..a 2022 Tacoma- and I love my truck!
