California has the best food in the country. A survey by Talker Research for HelloFresh finds California is ranked as the state with the best cuisine, with New York, Texas, Louisiana, and Florida also in the top five. The poll of five thousand Americans also asked people to name iconic foods from their state, like New York pizza and Texas barbecue. Californians say Mexican food, burgers, and shrimp tacos best represent their state.
