It's a good day to grab a slice. Today is National Pizza Day, celebrating one of the most popular foods in the U.S. Several pizza joints from coast to coast are offering special deals. That includes Pizza Hut, with a free heart-shaped pizza for joining their rewards program. Check your local favorites for deals.
For people on a carb free diet the photo below is of my homemafe carb free pizza, replacing the dough with a mixture of broccoli, eggs and cottage cheese (with added garlic salt for flavor) blended with a food processer.
It's not as pretty as a restaurant pizza, but it tastes pretty good and is WAY better for the waistline. photo is below.
