A new study suggests cooking more at home may help lower your risk for dementia. Researchers in Tokyo found that cooking a meal from scratch at home was associated with a 23-percent lower dementia risk among male participants and 27-percent lower risk in female participants. Scientists also found that cooking a meal at home at least once a week was tied to a 67-percent reduction in dementia risk.
Cooking at home also saves a lot of money.
How often do you cook at home? I cook at home most of the time (mostly becuase I can't afford those fancy restaurants), so I figure I'm in good shape.
