·AAA reports that the national average for a gallon of regular gas passed the $4 mark this week, leading many Americans to look for ways to save at the pump.

Here's what I started doing over a month ago to deal with this gas nightmare:
I combine trips- I plan out my driving so I encorporate all necessary stops and do the drive once instead of multiple separate trips.
I do all my local errands, bank, post office, etc on my E Bike- no gas spent at all there.
I work with my friends to carpool whenever possible.
I try to do my driving at times when the traffic is light so i don't waste gas sitting in traffic.
What do you do to save gas?
