For those of you who have lived in the I.E. for a long time, this may be a very fond memory.
30 years ago today at the 1996 Orange Blossom Festival was held in the downtown streets of Riverside. Many bands played throughout the day on multiple stages.
The clear highlight of the day was the hottest ska band at the time (ok maybe 2nd hottest behind No Doubt- but really.... was No Doubt ska?) from Southern California, and in my opnion, the Skeletones were the best live band of all of the third wave ska movement.
This was the only photo I have from that day...you can see me in the back in the white shirt and blue hat.
I think we need a music festival like that here in the Temecula Valley...
