The City of Temecula Community Services Department is proud to offer a series of summer workforce development programs designed to prepare local students for future academic and career success. Through hands-on learning, professional skill-building, and real world experiences, these programs provide valuable opportunities for local youth to explore career pathways and build confidence for the future. This summer, students can participate in these programs held at the Temecula Valley Entrepreneur’s Exchange (TVE2) located at 43200 Business Park Drive: Leadership Academy, Youth Entrepreneur Program, Medical Career Pathways, Future Physician Leaders, and Legal Scholars Program, each offering specialized curriculum and interactive experiences. Medical Career Pathway Program | June 22 – July 29, 2026 | Mon & Wed | 5:00pm – 7:00pm | Ages 14-18 Future Physician Leaders Program | June 23 – July 29, 2026 | Tue & Wed | 5:00pm – 7:00pm | Ages 18+ For High School and College/Grad Students pursuing a career in the Medical Field. These programs include lectures, workshops and group discussions. Physician shadowing rotations are offered to Future Physician Leaders (college/grad students only) in partnership with Southwest Healthcare's Temecula Valley Hospital. Leadership Academy | June 29 – July 8, 2026 | Mon – Wed | 9:00am – 12:00pm | Ages 14-18 This program equips students with essential life and career skills. Participants will gain experience in resume writing, interview techniques, public speaking, time management, and financial literacy. The program also includes CPR training and certification, as well as college preparation tips like school selection, majors, and admissions. Legal Scholars Program | July 8 – August 7, 2026 | Wed – Fri | 1:00pm – 4:00pm | Ages 18+ Designed for those interested in pursuing a career in law, the Legal Scholars Program offers an in-depth look into the legal field. Participants will engage in LSAT preparation, networking opportunities, guest speaker sessions, law school tours, and courtroom shadowing experiences. Youth Entrepreneur Program | July 15 – 24, 2026 | Wed – Fri | 9:00am – 12:00pm | Ages 14-18 This program introduces students to the world of business through hands-on learning. Participants will explore marketing, business planning, budgeting, and market research while developing their own mock business concepts. The program also features guest speakers and concludes with business pitch presentations. These programs provide students with the tools needed to develop professional skills, explore career interests, and gain valuable real-world insight in a supportive and engaging environment.
