- I want to start off by saying that I have a super soft spot for elderly people. I just love them and they seem to love me too. A few years ago I befriended this sweet old lady who lives down the street as she would go on walks and pass by our house. She would stop by and have a seat out front while we were hanging out and Reed was playing. I once saw her and her super disabled husband driving by in cab and the next time I saw her I asked her where they were going...she said to the doctor. I felt so bad that I offered to drive them next time they needed a ride. Well that one time turned into a few times a week phone calls asking if I could take her to the store etc. I ended up saying I couldn't and it stopped happening. Well, recently a few times I have come home from work...pulled up....and there she is!!! Sitting in a chair by my trampoline in my front yard...staring off with a saw in her hand! She said she was doing yard work. I feel so bad as I feel like she may be losing it mentally. Should I call someone and tell them? When I approached her she was aware of where she was and just said "hi, I'm just resting."
