A pitcher for Nevada in the American Legion Baseball World Series pulled off an amazing hidden-ball trick against Delaware. First he faked a pickoff throw to second then pretended the ball went into centerfield. After some confusion, the Delaware base runner believed him and took off for third. The pitcher threw the ball to his infielders and they tagged the runner out. Well played sir, well played. You deserve an Oscar.
