We all know by now how bad Chicago had it with this winter's polar vortex and how people were in real danger. Well Chicago police recently released bodycam video of officers rescuing a man who fell into freezing Lake Michigan. They formed a human chain to get him out and to avoid other officers falling in. The guy had been walking his dog when it ran off and fell into the water. The man chased after the dog, rescued it and fell in himself. Unfortunately he couldn't escape the frozen lake on his own. He was able to call police for help along with a bystander. According to a report, his body temperature got down to 93 degrees, which is close to hypothermia. Police say he was numb and they had to act fast to rescue the man. Luckily they did! You can get a clear look at the rescue starting at 0:46.
