Sometimes Guinness Records have no rhyme or reason and really have no effect on the evolution of our species, well most of them and this one is no different. A guy recently set a Guinness record by popping 200 balloons in 14.77 seconds. The balloons were attached to a wall and he popped them with a nail as he ran along side of it. He beat the previous by about 19 seconds. There were two stopwatches. One time came in at 14.88 and the other at 14.69, so 14.77 was the average. I have to admit, it is oddly satisfying watching this go down.
