An electric eel at the Chattanooga, Tennessee Aquarium can power lights on a Christmas tree! They call him "Miguel Wattson" and he has his own Twitter page. It works like this. The aquarium hooked up a special system to Miguel's tank to pick up his charges. When he's trying to find food he releases low-voltage blips of electricity. Outside of the tank you can actually hear some of those charges and then see the Christmas lights on a nearby tree flicker and flash! This is super cool no matter what age you are. Miguel Wattson is definitely spreading some holiday cheer out there in Chattanooga. Well done!
