A Christmas Tree Made of Sardine Cans Breaks Guinness World Record

A food company in the Philippines broke a Guinness World Record when it assembled a Christmas tree with more than 70,000 cans of sardines reaching nearly 20-feet-tall. The food brand company Mega Sardines said they stacked a total of 70,638 cans of sardines into the shape of a Christmas tree to break the Guinness record for the tallest can structure. The can tree measures 19 feet and 4.5 inches tall and weighs nearly 31,000 pounds. Don't worry about wasting food here, they say the cans used for the Christmas tree sculpture will be donated to the charities Reach Out Feed Philippines and Mega Malasakit Kitchen.
