A Florida fisherman, 22-year-old Tommy Lee, was fishing for tarpon in the Everglades on Saturday when an alligator emerged from the water. Lee gets startled and starts to flee, but ends up falling. Luckily the gator didn't charge any further. Needless to say the fisherman's day was done after the encounter. Lee estimated the gator to be about 11 feet long. It’s mating season in Florida, which means the gators are more active and encounters like these happen more often.
